About The Club

Proteus Sub Aqua Club meets at Southwell Leisure Centre on specific Thursday evenings from 8.30 – 10 pm. Contact the Treasurer to check the programme. When not at the pool training there are theory lessons to complete. The BSAC qualification is internationally recognised and invaluable training prior to holidays in the sun near the sea! For young people, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme recognises active participation in sub aqua diving at all levels.

Once you have made the decision to join the Club – after your “try dive” and a couple more sessions to check that Sub Aqua is something you wish to take up – there will be papers to complete and subscriptions to pay. Upon receipt of completed membership forms for both Proteus SAC (Southwell) and BSAC, the Secretary and Treasurer will organise the paperwork on your behalf and will forward details to you as soon as possible.
